Cute book, even for someone with no kids

Format: Paperback

Disclaimer: I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.I thought this book was very cute, even though I’m 25 and have no children to read it to. I can see why there’s a note at the beginning that says kids want it made into a TV show like Spongebob; I’d watch it if there was one. The story kept me smiling the entire time I was reading, and I could just imagine sitting in a daycare or a young classroom and reading it for storytime. I’ll be looking forward to more of Jumper’s adventures, and I’ll keep them in the back of my mind for when I do have a child someday.5 stars
my kids want this book to be turned into a TV kiddie series

By Arianne on March 6, 2014

Format: Kindle Edition

When I first read Jumper to my two boys, they were all smiles as they imagined Jumper and his adventures and wish to go to Carnival Castle. Soon every night, I read the book to them before going to sleep. Not long after, Rebecca Scarberry wrote the sequel, Jumper Bounces Back and me and my kids couldn’t have been more happy! This time, Jumper found happiness with his new owner and had adventures in Fair Ground and met a new friend, Teddy. After reading this second book to them, my kids told me to get the author’s attention and ask her to turn the book into a TV Kiddie series, just like Spongebob and Blue’s Clues! My kids really loved the story and are even more excited when they learned that there’s another book coming soon! Yipeee!

It is rather incredible what adventures a red ball can find out in the world at large. In “Jumper Bounces Back” the curious beach ball, Jumper, goes on wonderful little escapades that are sure to delight any young readers and make even the oldest reader smile. Children get to explore a carnival, a birthday party and a few other fun locations with their imagination and with the help of some cute illustrations.I greatly appreciated that all dialogue in the book was age appropriate. Small children sounded like small children when they spoke, and adults sounded like adults. From beginning to end, Rebecca Scarberry’s book “Jumper Bounces Back” is a light, fun, adorable read.
Bounce back with JUMPER!

I have to admit, I was a kid again when I read the first book by Rebecca Scarberry titled JUMPER. I was so pleased to see her continue the series with JUMPER BOUNCES BACK. The summer escapades by the little red ball just keep adding up and so do all the children he comes in contact with. All the way back to Carnival Castle and right back into my heart as well. Bring me another, Becky! I hope Emily doesn’t keep him, though. I would be sad for Tony after finally getting his “baw” back!
