Great book!!! Very encouraging, motivating and empowering. Ayala is trully a proffesional coach.
I have a 7 years old kid, who has some difficulties with multiplication table and tends to give up, when he doesn’t succeed in homework.
I’ve read and translated him this book and from now on I’ll remind him “Kate” every time he wan’t to quit… At the end she learned how to fly, so can you… Never give up!.

It’s a wonderful book!!
As a mother of three I find it to address the most common issue while raising children.
To be able to give them the security of success especially when it needs work and patience.
I’ll be kipping the book close by for I can predict many reading occasions to my children..

The now seasoned author of children’s books Ayala Saar is a certified personal and business coach. She also has an MBA-specializing in organizational management from Israel’s Ono Academic College. Her career since graduation has been spent working in management and in motivating people to fulfill themselves. In recent years she is also volunteers as a lecturer on professional and personal empowerment. This is her seventh book in a very successful series and this time her book is illustrated by artist Suzette Ramos.

We meet a mother bird, sitting on her nest of eggs waiting for her children to hatch. When they do hatch mom tries to teach them to fly but though some can fly after some testy attempts, but Kate cannot fly because she says ‘My wings are too short, and my legs are too long, and my only talent is singing birdsongs!’ Mom encourages her by buying her a bicycle and Kate bikes with her flying siblings until those flying leave her for higher realm. Kate is sad, she meets a turtle who says her wings are perfect and to just keep trying to fly, and sure enough with practice Kate flies! Everyone is happy and Kate gives her new turtle friend the little bicycle in gratitude.

It is a fine morale about not giving up and trying until you reach our goals. Not only are Ayala’s stories entertaining and refreshingly fun, they also carry important messages for children. Another winner for Ayala Saar! Grady Harp, December 15.

Would you like to be able to fly? Where would you go?

The author, Ayala Saar, has written a lovely story about a family of birds, and the lessons to be learned. We meet Mother Bird sitting in a tree waiting for her babies to be born. They are born and grow rather quickly. One day, she decided it was time to teach them to fly. All of them tried to fly, and it took a couple of tries before three of them were successful at flying. However, Kate could not learn to fly and gave up. Mother Bird was very upset that Kate would not continue to learn to fly, but she left her alone. One day, Mother Bird bought Kate a bicycle, and now Kate could bike her way around the area. She could not, however, keep up with her brothers who were flying, until one day… When you read this book you will understand what happens next.

Parents/teachers will enjoy reading this book to their children. The children will have fun discussing the lessons learned from Mother Bird and the flying little birds. These lessons learned, are one of the best methods to educate children. The illustrations by Suzette Ramos, are bright, vivid and colorful, depicting the story of the bird family. I enjoyed this book and love the lessons learned. Note: a complimentary copy of this book was provided to read and review.

My grandchildren adored this well written book and the beautiful pictures. They felt sorry for Kate and were qurious to know what will happen to her when she’ll be left on her own. They loved the good ending and now when they see birds flying over them they wave at them and ask them to say hi to Kate.
