Ted Saves the World
Ted Finley was your typical, wise-cracking teenager…until an otherworldly force gave him abilities beyond his wildest dreams. Sixteen-year-old Erica LaPlante was six-feet-under when a blast of blue light brought her body back to life. When their school comes under attack, Ted and Erica must use everything at their disposal to save their friends, the town and… well, the world.

Ted’s the unlikely hero: the awkward schoolkid granted super-powers without warning, and confronted with a cafe robbery that has more than a hint of alien interference.
When an old-flame, previously missing, whereabouts unknown, comes back from the dead and equipped with her own set of unique powers, the stage is set for an exciting – and funny – race to save the world.
Lots of excellent characters and a fast-paced storyline make Ted Saves The World a great read. Bring on the series*!
* This book is totally readable as a standalone. I thought I’d mention that, as so many ‘first in a series’ books end in a giant cliffhanger with no story resolution. The story in Ted is resolved, but the series is clearly just beginning and it will be interesting to see what this crazy group of characters get up to.
I really enjoyed this book. When I first read the synopsis I wasn’t sure about it. When I started reading that quickly changed. It was a really fun read. There is humor, super powers, suspense, action and even a little romance. I look forward to reading more of Ted’s adventures.
I definitely recommend this to anyone who is a fan of paranormal/YA sci-fi/fantasy. Although this is the first in a series, it can be read as a stand alone book. The author leaves it open at the end for the possibility but everything is resolved and your not left going “What!?!?!”I received this book free for my honest review.
