I teach my students how to do Book Talks in order to recommend books that they would like for the rest of us to read. This is what my book talk would look like for Seven Fish Tree: Excellent read! One of the two best reads of the summer for me. If you believe in miracles this is a must read. If you don’t believe in miracles you will after reading Whale’s book. Of course, using Ronnie Shaw’s nickname that I know him by would create lots of questions at this point. I would answer those and any questions about the book without revealing too much because I want them to get hooked and read it. One of those questions is always, “Why did you like this book!” My response would have to be, “It made me laugh, cry, and gave me goose bumps. I love a book that creates so many emotions and also makes me look at my faith.”

My second best read is The Yellow Bus Boys also by Ronnie Shaw…when Linda, my sister-in-law, and I went to Atlanta to visit old friends I had to ask…what is Whale’s real name? Yes, it is Ronnie Shaw. He grew up, became a police officer now retired, has now become an author of two books. The Yellow Bus Boys is the best coming of age, stand up to bullies, funniest book that I have read! Best of all I know the author and this is his story. I knew that his life growing up was tough, but man, I am so proud of the kid that I met at my brother’s house many years ago. He was funny them and is still funny. What a wonderful book signing, storytelling time we had at the Varsity (the place to go in Atlanta)! Can’t wait for The Yellow Bus Boys to make it to Amazon!

Ron Shaw had a vision so powerful that he was compelled to write a book about the event. Many may have visions, but are afraid to share their story. Not Ron, he wants the public to experience hiss message. The book is vivid and is filled with the power of the Creator. There are question, answers and more questions. If you like to think, then read and enjoy the mind trip. Thank you Ron for writing this book.

Format: Paperback

a friend recommended this book to me even though it was not my normal genre I found this book to be unlike any other, it was entertaining, unique; but more importantly, enlightening . while not a religious book it is spiritual. it gives a fresh take on some of man’s most complex questions.

Format: Paperback

Just finished your book, Seven Fish Tree, and am amazed by such an awesome dream! Can’t believe how vivid and detailed it was. Looking forward to reading The Yellow Bus Boys. I am so proud you are writing, and hope this is just the beginning for you!

Format: Paperback

I read this book and found it most interesting. I know the Author and that is amazing that he wrote this book and kept my interest. Well worth buying and reading. He has such a way with words and the way he tells his story.

Format: Paperback

After reading Seven Fish Tree I was amazed at what a great read it turned out to be. I was blown away with the style in which it was written and its most provocative, inspiring and profound message. I have never been on a trip like the one Ron takes you on in his story. It is most definitely a must read if you would like to consider the future of mankind.

And for me to say I was amazed by this author, really means something, because I have known him for close to fifty years. When someone you have known that long can touch your imagination and make you think in the way Ron does in Seven Fish Tree, he truly must be a very, very gifted writer.

Format: Paperback

Dreams about a glimpse of heavan are awe-inspiring to we believers. This book is based on such a dream, or perhaps a NDE (Near Death Experience ). I know it really happened because I was one of the few Ron Shaw called while still soulfully transformed from the experience; as he recalled the event, in strong detail, the image ( still with me to this day ) is that the hand of God was involved in this.
