Rise of the AntiChrist
(The Second Coming Series: Book 2):
Rise of the Antichrist is the continuation of the journey of the Castillo family, led by JC and Maria, as they forge ahead in their mission of “Saving Humanity from the Brink”.
In the sequel to the award-winning, The Second Coming, JC, Maria and their children tour Asia attempting to evangelise the Earth. With the assistance of their two especially gifted, eldest twins, Samantha and Damien they continue the work of building new communities dedicated to their precepts of love and worship.
There is real evil afoot, though as Beelzebub (The Devil) has escaped the pits of Hades and is hell-bent on gaining domination of Earth. To achieve this he plans to raise a human, from Earth, to become the AntiChrist and lead his campaign to win the souls of humanity.
The forces of good and evil will square off in a confrontation that spans the globe and can only lead to one possible outcome – “Holy War” Book 3 of the series).
Rise of the AntiChrist is an exciting, darker and racier story than The Second Coming, that will keep you enthralled right up to the stunning conclusion.
Rise of the AntiChrist will be followed by the third ad final book in this series; Holy War, set to be released in late September 2016.

The writing is very entertaining and humorous in parts, yet serious and reflective in others.
The messiah here isn’t the same as that of the bible in that he speaks in a much more contemporary style, which some Christians may find edgy. I think the author managed the tightrope between updating the characters and delivering the message of the book very well.
I was certainly not offended and received the beautiful message of this series better this way. Others may disagree.
The story reads almost like an adventure at times, with the forces of good and evil fighting and the plot taking us around the globe (e.g. Las Vegas and Shanghai)
As the title already gives away, the rise of the AntiChrist is the subject of the book, and how the good forces may be able to stop him.
If you have an open mind and a good sense of humour than this book is definitely for you. Very enjoyable and thoughtful.

Having given up his immortality JC settles down with Maria to raise a family and to continue to try to make earth a better place. As he works with his family and friends to spread his message of love, respect and to live in harmony with the environment and our neighbours he is unaware that evil forces are gathering.
As the book title suggests Beelzebub is preparing for the rise of the Anti-Christ. Who this person is and how they turn to evil through pride and jealousy is very cleverly done. Although the reader gradually realises who is the Anti-Christ the book ends with Beelzebub revealing the identity to JC and promising the start of a Holy War.
No pressure Mr Leishman but I really want to know what happens next.A very enjoyable read.
