I read both books in the bundle in record time. Had trouble putting it down and looked forward to picking it up each time. If you enjoy military/cia/police type books & TV you would enjoy this (almost like NCIS meets Jason Born)

I like the series, have read all of them, writing is improving as series progresses. Lots of action, fast paced, pretty good characters, keeps me entertained, generally read each book through once I start. I believe the author is sorting out the somewhat confusing book titles, that is a good thing. Fast action packed thrillers with constantly improving characters.

The Good Soldier is a well-written narration of a completely unbelievable story with totally unbelievable characters. I didn’t believe the the action, the corruption, the bad people, the unblinking obedience of the subordinates of the bad people, or the hero or his friends. It became obvious while I was still in the first chapter that this genre of story is nothing like I enjoy reading, but my curiosity of just how bad will it get kept me reading. It got no better for me. I would recommend without hesitation this book to a fringe few of my friends and acquaintances who think politics and competition breed folks as those who appear in this book. I recommend because it is a well-told tale. I hated it. It is me, Ryan, not you. It is better that we never meet this way again.
