Canadian Intelligence Service Agent Justin Hall — combat-hardened in operations throughout Northern Africa — has been demoted after a botched mission in Libya.

When two foreign icebreakers appear in Canadian Arctic waters, Justin volunteers for the reconnaissance mission, eager to return to the field. His team discovers a foreign weapons cache deep in the Arctic, but they are not aware that a spy has infiltrated the Department of National Defence.

The team begins to unravel a treasonous plan against Canada, but they fall under attack from one of their own. Disarmed and stripped of their survival gear, they are stranded in a remote location. Now the team must survive the deadly Arctic not only to save themselves, but their country.

Arctic Wargame is an action-packed spy thriller in the bestselling tradition of Portrait of a Spy, Rules of Betrayal and The Bourne Identity. Readers will enjoy a great tale of courage, fear and betrayal.

Why do I write spy thrillers?

Because I want to entertain my readers. I want them to escape their daily lives and to embark on hair-raising operations along with the best agents of the Canadian Intelligence Service. I want my readers to live precariously through the adventures of my fearless characters, Justin Hall and Carrie O’Connor.

I believe my readers are smart, and I trust them to follow my adventures without too much explanations of minute details or unnecessary descriptions.

My readers can enjoy these spy adventures without needing to become experts in weapons technology, learn the special operations lingo or have up-to-date knowledge of complicated geopolitics of our ever-changing world.

My stories are clear and to the point, with plausible plots and credible storylines, with no word padding, and without being bogged down by political and philosophical discourses.

Finally, I write spy thrillers because they give me a chance to do what I love. They inspire me to create adventures that can thrill my readers, encourage them to take a break from their stressful lives, and savor a taste of adventure, danger, and adrenaline rush.

Though I would agree with the guy who says this is not plausible, I would hurry to add that it is fiction; it is not meant to be totally believable.
Still I would highly recommend the book if you want an exciting readable book with great characters.

Delightfully gripping narrative. Fast paced but keeping you glued. The characters are believable and give a broad insight into human nature. Very surprising twists but all neatly tied together. The action is relentless and moves the narrative forward keeping you from losing interest. Heroism is muted with none of the characters having specialized skills. Just commitment and dedication with honor at stake. All in all, a very worthy five-star rating.

Good fast paced plot with realistic characters in a very plausible scenario. Very difficult to put the book down at night. If you want a fast paced action novel this book is for you.
