I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it, it was so riveting. I love books about serial killers, and An Evil Mind has a very original take on the genre.
The story is as follows:
Mark Hinton comes to a death row prison to visit Edward Phillips who killed his 15 year old daughter Helen. Edward tells Mark that he’s innocent and that he knows who the real killer is. Mark begins to investigate Edward’s claims and eventually realizes that he might be telling the truth.
The man that Edward accuses of killng Mark’s daughter is a very evil ruthless person. I hated his guts.
There is a MAJOR twist in the middle of the book that simply blew my mind.
It’s a very suspenseful read. Not a dull paragraph. It’s hard to decide who’s telling the truth and who’s lying. When I read this novel, I kept wondering whether Edward was lying or telling the truth. There was evidence that he was the murderer.
An Evil Mind has an great story and good writing. It was hard to predict in which direction the story was going next.
I liked the mystery in this book a lot. It’s an excellent read for anyone who enjoys suspense thrillers..

It’s an awesome book! Impossible to put down. It grabbed my attention from the get-go. In the first pages we see a ruthless sadist murder a young girl.
The novel is about the father of a murdered girl whose killer was captured and sentenced to death. The father, Mark, visits the killer, Edward, and the killer asks him to investigate the person who he claims is the real killer. Edward says that there’s another girl in another city who was killed in the same manner as Mark’s daughter. Mark reluctantly investigates the man and discovers a terrible secret.
Edward appears to be guilty because his fingerprints are on the knife that was used to kill Mark’s daughter, Helen. When his lawyer is murdered, Edward suspects that he was killed by the same man who killed Helen.
Is Edward telling the truth? Why are his fingerprints on the murder weapon?
The plot is complex, hard to predict. An Evil Mind is a truly suspenseful book that keeps you guessing..

An Evil Mind is a very good and entertaining book. I really enjoyed it. So much so that I read it in one day. It was just that hard to put down.

The story is one that will keep you in suspense and longing to find out what will happen next. I don’t want to spoil the ride for anyone…so no spoilers. Just know that the intensity level matches the fast pace and the ending are satisfying. Also, the characters were well developed and the villain is intriguing, different and so creepy.

I know everyone isn’t into the horror and suspense genre, but if you are at least consider giving this book a read. It held my interest to the very end..

Great read. An Evil Mind is a fast paced suspense thriller about a man trying to avenge his daughter’s murder.
The problem is that the man who killed her can escape from any prison.A fifteen year old girl named Helen Hinton is murdered in an abandoned house. The killer stabbed her twice in the chest and then ripped open her stomach.
The police accuse Edward Phillips of her murder and later he is sentenced to death. When Helen’s father, Mark, meets with Edward in prison, Edward says that he didn’t kill the girl and that he didn’t see her body. He gives Mark the name of the person who killed Helen, Sam Curtis. Mark doesn’t believe him but agrees to look into Sam Curtis.
At first, it was hard to decide if Edward is innocent or not. Helen’s blood was on his clothes and his fingerprints were found on her belt buckle.
But then things began to happen that made me wonder if Sam Curtis did kill Helen. I absolutely loved the twist and all the turns the story took in the second half of the book.
I loved the tension and suspense of the novel..

An Evil Mind is a fast paced suspense thriller I couldn’t put down. The book grabbed me from the first pages. A young girl, Helen, is stabbed to death and her killer Edward Phillips is caught by the police. However, a few months later Helen’s father Mark meets with Edward and learns that there was another girl who was murdered in the same way as his daughter.
Edward tries to convince Mark that the other girl was killed by the man who killed Helen. Is Edward lying?
Shockingly, it turns out that Edward’s prints are on the knife the killer used to kill Helen! It appears that Edward tricked Mark.
And then Mark finds out the terrible secret that Edward has been hiding from everyone. I was shocked when I found out what REALLY happened.
The plot of An Evil Mind has many twists. Mark does all he can to get to the truth and catch the villains.
The book is full of surprises, you never know what will happen next.
Excellent thriller, with top notch suspense. Highly recommend..
