The story in this novel has twist and turns? Who is
Lina? Who are her parents? Will she marry the prince? Great read for all who like Christian romance suspense. I was given a copy for an honest review.

Definitely a great read. It’s nice to read a romantic story that doesn’t involve vulgarities. The plot line drew me in and held my attention from start to finish. I ended up reading the whole book in one evening. Well done!

This lovely italian historic story introduced the characters and then wouldn’t let you leave them. I had to know the end for all of them and ignored laundry and dinner to finish this one! It is a great book with a fantastic plot line. Highly recommended!

Superior to her first novel, An Angel in the Distance creates developed characters and keeps the reader guessing. Suspense, romance, and a touch of fairy tale describe the plot as the reader watches Lina go from rags to riches and marry her prince.

What do you get when you cross “Ever After” with Jane Austen and drop it into the Renaissance? This book.

Not usually one for sappy love stories, I was pleased to find myself pulling for the main two characters, Lina and Lore. The battle of wits between the two was refreshing and engaging without being over-the-top – which is often difficult to balance in a written romantic relationship. I kept finding myself bargaining, “Just one more chapter, and then I’ll do the dishes;” “Just one more chapter, and then I’ll get back to work;” “Just one more chapter, and then I’ll go to bed…or maybe two more.”

A.R. Conti Fulwell seamlessly weaves a story of a young woman growing from a servant girl into an artist into a prince’s love interest into something more than she ever thought she’d be. This is a story of putting faith in yourself, following your passions, never backing down – even if it means putting yourself in harm’s way – and proving that true love does conquer all, but only if you’re willing to let it.
